Inspired by Music and Lyrics

Loads of housework… As I got up late with a swollen eye, it’s a choice either to start the day with a smile, or a grumble. The clock sounds 10.30a.m., a little late to what I expected. Grab an apple, and there I go: help little sis in homework, bath, and out for lunch. Burger for lunch, to be truthful, how I hope it was more of an oriental cuisine. That lime drink for lunch caused pain for my day…Gastric pain:(

Laundry, sweep and cleaning up my room, my motivation for the day… Joyce went out with bf, Eunice to school, and home alone I go! Mum was back later, as we enjoyed another series, “射雕英雄传”. A sweet nap after that and I indulge in a movie “Music and Lyrics” by Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore. It was indeed a sweet and meaningful one, inspired by Sophie’s talents in poetry and her truthful character. The chemistry heated up with the presence of music and there goes the “happy ending”. This movie reminded me on a question by Poh Li, “Will you be truthful to your friend if she’s off track (may was not really acceptable by classmates due to her character)?” I’m not a straight-forward one, but at times it will reduce the pain for being truthful, a true friend keeps no secrets…
