After a terrible fight with gastric pain last night, at last the morning shined as usual… However, my main concern was still if I’ll have enough rest for a boost of the day. “Worst nightmare” of vomiting until acidic liquid can no longer come out, at least eight times of repetitive “visit” to the toilet.
Starting the day with God’s word playing in mum’s car really meant lot… It comes back to the decision to go to church after a terrible war with acid. Serving in CHAMPS has never meant so much as before. Reading stories with the children, building Lego, bringing them to the toilet was indeed an experience I miss for long. Having them sit on my lap, separating children who fights… what else give more joy then watching these innocent eyes communicate with each other… Jesus loves the little children, that’s the verse that has been planted in my heart for long, the source of motivation that keep me in this ministry for the past 8 years. Playing the character “King Saul” for bible lesson, acting for object lesson, reminds me how long I miss this stage, since Form 1-3, (before I served in Chinese CHAMPS) Sharmila and I were always acting different characters in the bible… Children are active and “hyper” today, thanks to the nutrients absorbed through their milk (call it DHA, AA). Made many new friends (cute little ones) is the greatest reward for the day.
A day of carnation and roses, Cheers to all mums… Second Service started with Words from pastor for all mums… Proverbs 6:20 “My son, keep your father’s commands and do not forsake your mother’s teaching”, fathers set the boundary in the family, however mothers play the role to explain these boundaries, with tears and silent prayers in teaching. Pastor Vernon shared on the transformation after having Christ, we are new creation. He anointed all mama and those who desires to be mama, that’s the full stop for the service. We had lunch in organic counter before departing home. This phone call from Roland surprised me with the intro of “still not awake?”, do I give such an impression?
Greetings could spread through the advancement of technology at a fingertip… But what matters most is when children obey parents, with all their sacrifice over the years. With a simple “mum, I love you” can end in tears… We had dinner at home, as you’ll know, the crowd today, it’s always wiser to stay at home. Celebration is postponed till next Sunday, either Kura or, Paddington… Dinner was great, would be perfect without that slight pain of gastric. During family altar, we shared our thoughts to mum, and prayed as a family. That’s the unity that keeps the commanded blessings flow.
Cheers to Eunice for completing her assignment! Mum, thanks for giving me life, and bringing me up over the years… I love you!!!
