Back home...

Stepping down from the doorstep, I had such a great feeling, “I am back home, at last!!!” What made such a difference, I think was due to the long session of speech after chairing a meeting. Usually this feeling occurs when i reach my home, of cause the one in Puchong. Erm… I agree at times, I don’t like talking too much, especially when it comes across formal events. But it seems that I’m given opportunities to do so, lately… Recalling Pend. Moral in Malay, I seem so lost in this language… Great time of fellowship with my committees, and meeting surprisingly had more interaction. Still in a dilemma: take a nap, or not… Anyway, got some tutorial to clear off, and some datelines.

Nap, I decided… As I got up, a memory flashed through my mind… I was delighted to tell Chee Mee that SC was my last event, she gave me a word that kept me stunt for a while: Will you get used to the life without events? I started thinking for a while, nope, I’ll be so busy with thesis and assignments, no time for events, I guess… Besides, my weekends will still be interesting with church activities…. Maybe could try allocating some time for friends and me, learn cooking, perhaps…

Meeting –post mortem at 6pm, and dinner time… Everyone sort of “terasa” when one of or committees was late, he sat down and gave comments here and there, when all he did was that minimum effort, missing all meetings and leaving the rest in work. When it came to the appreciation dinner, all he suggested was karaoke… all I could say, he made us disappointed. Dinner was great time with May and Amanda… the same place I had steamboat with the RCM team, but surprisingly, I enjoyed the meal with the RCM more than this one… Interaction, less than 10%... Maybe it was more of a last minute plan, so I doubted if the atmosphere was going to be interactive. In short, the most efficient team I have been with, cheers to all…
