I am late for prayer… Ouch… However, the best thing I did in the morning was apologize to Joel, Ken and Boon Yeong. The CF surprised me, initiated by Ken to sing a birthday song. Even though my eyes could hardly open, I felt that it was sincerely from their hearts. Thanks for the wishes… Ms Esther prayed a prayer of blessings over me. I left to the office to meet her, leaving my key on the table. Trying to contact the rest, I discovered a negative credit on my phone. Thanks to DSA, I made this phone call upon collection of my house keys.
A nap before the next class that is MA tutorials… I was given the privilege to read the first question. The next surprise was by Joanne, Chee Mee, Shuah Chin and Gek Chien. They brought me to Secret Recipe to choose 3 lovely pieces of cake, followed by breakfast cum lunch at Old Town Coffee. We took some pictures, with the 5 megapixels phone by SE. Birthday song was a soft one, but they sang from the bottom of their heart. I was indeed so touched, even in this short 30 minutes of food and fellowship; we had a great time… The next stop was of cause meeting up with Ms Tan, my supervisor. We had a brief discussion at the lift corridor… I proceed with OD class; continue with thank you messages to attendees of my birthday celebration.
I skipped class for FSA, planning for a replacement on Thursday. The best thing of the day was of cause a 2-hours nap. The pasar malam then welcomed Ri and I with open arms. It was indeed a great joy to have a relieved Ri by my side, I know both her and Wq has been through a lot… However, my prayers will always be with them. The last part of the day was a movie “Sex and the City”… The meaning behind it was of cause the most meaningful part – “Love, friendship, truth, gratitude and appreciate opportunities”.
What can be an epilogue by this “no longer 20 girl”? I must say I’m grateful to be 21, and I give thanks for the abundant increase in every areas of my life… Cheers to God, Jesus (my everlasting best friend) my parents, spiritual parents, friends and relatives…
