End of week one...

Thurs

I started the day with a burden for the victims of the natural disaster, as I knew today’s mission is a fund raising for China and Myanmar victims by the SRCs… Recalling back as I suggested this issue to Chi Wei, it takes boldness to speak out… being quiet doesn’t work at all times. I’m touched by the student’s generosity towards the victims… Mr Chan questions where the amount goes after this reminds me of the analytical mind we should have… Later part of the morning was spent travelling to DU for removal of stitches. Dr Lee mentioned that I had speedy recovery, recalling the minor pain while removing those stitches. Mum was a bit moody, complaining on the traffic, but lunch was great with her and Eunice… The journey back to Sungai Long was “wet” and lengthy… After a nap, my duty as a cook begins, and then there I go on with the SC meeting at 8. Late supper continues with Roland and Weng Yue… I was happy these guys were willing to share the problems faced in different areas, further understand their interests and background… I final goodbye to Suk Mun and Woon Hui from CF, I’m glad they found their jobs… After such a day, all I can say is “I desperately need my bed!”

Fri

Late for class, what a start for the day… Sir was a strict one, with high expectations… However, I’m looking forward for this sem, as it’s my final year. Couldn’t believe it, was my first meal with housemate for this new semester… Later part of the afternoon was spent doing some preparation for Safety Campaign booth and a proposal. A short 10 minutes nap was all I have before the night… We had steamboat and barbeque at Sri Kembangan, what else, the RCM team… Fellowship was great with them, and the part I enjoyed most was the “ice-cream”, after a 20 minutes queue with Li Mun… From the smile in the pictures, I can describe that I enjoyed the meal lots. Thanks for the treat from Li Mun’s bf. The desire for more resulted in “Look-up Point”… We had supper, with the biggest surprise from Roland, he had a second round of sandwich, but gave up at last too due to the portion. We witnessed two birthday celebrations there, and the cozy environment surrounds us… What an experience, with no regrets… Wonderful chat with the girls, especially Li Mun and Evelyn… Cheers to this team… I’ll appreciate this… The clock strikes 2 upon arrival…

Sat

My tummy hurts, but it was a minor one, and I hardly could sleep after that… Getting up, help a friend of mine to move his house, then there goes breakfast and a lift back home… A phone call, asking me to be the MC for VYS… Pastor shared on the importance of a family, and building relationship… was a bit tired… the television accompanied me for the night… as for dinner: chocolate, tong sui and vege…mum didn’t cook:(

Sun

Mum’s voice filled the air, as it was time to get up… Praise Team for the start of the day, continued by CHAMPS – nursery and Café Ministry, Chinese CHAMPS… Indeed, what a joy to serve… to built relationship through all these… Children were a bit out of control today, reminds me to pray more next time. Lunch with Uncle Pao Sun and he sent me home. Dad, mum n Eunice’s going Australia today… Not even time for a nap, as I have to get started for the safety campaign booth. I admit I was a bit tired and therefore rushing through things…

Epilogue: The most happening week in my entire Uni life (up to now), and this is going to be enough, as week 2 is here... Best regards to all my friends out there, especially Ri n Wq...
